Tempel deluxe

Another great shop/atelier we visited during our wander with Pia Jane Bijkerk. Such a creative, inspiring little place called Tempel deluxe where you can buy these pretty handpainted pottery and little gifts.

Do you know the feeling you can have after you had this dream which was so good you just want to go back to sleep and continue dreaming? I just had the most amazing time last weekend and it feels like it was all just a perfect dream like that and I wish I could go back in time and relive it all...

Vintage finds 8

I found these old cards on the market in Rotterdam a while ago. It were five cards with cars on it made with parts coming from old watches. Ik took them all off cause I think they are quite beautiful. I want to make something with it, just don't know what yet. I was thinking about a necklace or something.. Do you have any ideas?

Chocolat is the answer

Another perfect place in London: Columbia Road. On Sunday this street is transformed into an oasis of follage and flowers. The shops here are just amazing! You can find lots of creative/ vintage/ fun stores there! It's near Brick Lane so if you go there make sure you visit Columbia Road with it's flowermarket as well!

Another shop/atelier we visited on our wander through Amsterdam with Pia Jane. It's called Keramiek van Kempen. This place made me want to create beautiful things myself!

My birthday party!

I had such a great weekend, I celebrated my birthday last Saturday with my family and last Sunday with my friends. I wanted to have a high tea outside Sunday but the weather didn't allow it so I used an empty room in my house to have my inside high-tea/ picknick. I made the party flags and the carpet myself. I'm also really into baking lately so I made some cheesecakes, chocolate tart, mini-cupcakes, scones and much more! I definitely gained a few pounds this weekend cause I ate so much but it was worth it cause I really had a lovely time with my sweet friends! My friend and fellowblogger Lenneke was there as well and she did a post on her blog about my birthday party yesterday, she took some great pictures! Here are mine:
