Lof der Zoetheid

One of my favourite places in Rotterdam definitely is Lof der Zoetheid! This place is owned by mother Anastasia and daughter Elena who serve the best home made pies and sweets in Rotterdam! If you're not a big fan of sweets (I can't imagine..) there are lots of other delicious alternatives! I like having my breakfast there and I recently had a perfect high tea which I highly recommend to everyone who loves pies! (I will post some photos of that high tea soon!) The atmosphere in this beautiful lunchroom is perfect, I love the little (vintage) details you can find there everywhere like the old pictures in the little menu books. They are closed now for a while but they will probably open again in May (from Thursdays till Sundays). So when you come to Rotterdam you really cannot leave without paying a visit to Lof der Zoetheid!

More photos I took at Puces de St. Ouen! I could not stop taking pictures there! I just loved the box filled with old handwritten letters.. Isn't it much nicer to receive a letter like that instead of the e-mails we write nowadays??
